Bradley Hamlett was a chocolate mogul
As a teenager, Brad Hamlett worked at a Florida chocolate factory. Though he had no plans to run a chocolate business again, the UT Law School crowd convinced him to try it. Hamlett’s chocolate business opened in 1995, but it was in a terrible location in West Knoxville. Luckily, a vacant storefront was found. After a little searching, Hamlett and his wife, Joy, found it. They moved in and re-established the business in a more convenient location.
Littlefield and Steere were chocolatiers of the duo
The historic Candy Factory building, which houses the Knoxville Chocolate Company, was originally built for the South, Littlefield and Steere Company. In 1901, the duo started manufacturing confectioneries. This building still stands today, complete with floor-to-ceiling retail windows. Located near Clinch Avenue, it was designed for pedestrians and serves as the headquarters of the chocolatier.

Kilwins Knoxville is a local chocolatier

The local location is wedged between Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain, which is one of Knoxville’s most popular shopping spots. It’s always a good idea to make a stop in Kilwins Knoxville for some sweets. The chocolate shop’s catchphrase is “sweet in every sense.”
